Preserving the Monarch Butterfly’s Vital Habitat

Monarch butterflies depend heavily on milkweed for breeding and food for their larvae. These plants are disappearing due to urbanization, agriculture, and herbicide use, which destroys the Monarchs’ breeding grounds. Without milkweed, Monarchs can’t complete their life cycle, leading to a decline in their population.
